Here are a few pictures from yesterday. They say it is supposed to snow more today, but who knows. The clouds aren't as dark now, so I hope the sun comes out soon!
All in all yesterday wasn't that bad. There was lots of wind and blowing snow, which was weird to see. I was at work for a majority of the storm. We have huge windows in the lobby so I was able to watch the storm all day. 90% of the time I couldn't see past the balcony by the windows. During my break I was able to watch the news, and they issued an official blizzard warning thru noon today.
This is the front entrance of the resort. This pic doesn't do justice to the blowing snow.
This is the window and balcony area that we can look out from the front desk. The ice slowly covered the window more and more throughout my shift. Normally From this balcony you can see across the resort, lodges, golf course, the country club, etc.
This was on the drive home from work at 9pm. The roads were icey, but there was fresh snow on top of the ice to give you traction.
