The Big Day quickly approachs!

So, twelve days and counting till the big day. Where does the time go! We're super excited though. I can't wait to see all my family and meet his (no I haven't met his grandparents yet)!
Things to do:
  • SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!! I still have yet to get shoes, slacker, I know. But it's on my list of things to do. :) so that's a start.
  • Put together favors
  • Finish parents gifts
  • Run through on hair (appointment made)
  • hmmmm.... what else. My mom has done a super job of handling the little details, and The Pinery has made it even easier! I'm so grateful that we picked them, our planner there has been awesome!

My parents/sister/gma/CJ/Jamy all fly in on Saturday! Byron and CJ will go to the Cowboy/Bronco game (Go Cowboys!) on Sunday. Wednesday we pick up a few of the groomsmen, and then Thursday everyone else arrives! Byron and I both have our bachelor and bachelorette parties that night. His will be paintball by day, poker and drinking by night. For the ladies we will do my Bridal Shower during the day and then go out to the downtown clubs at night. I don't know why I'm writing all this, but I just feel like it!

That's it for now! I'm sure I will come up with other To Do items, but for now, I'm good :)

Here is one of Byron's favorite pictures from our engagement photo session

wedding planning

Wedding Countdown Ticker

I'm officially starting to stress out (and that's if this is even considered stress!). All the large stuff is done! Now it's the details. My mom has mostly taken care of those, the only thing left was the officiant. But I guess thats not a small detail!! I picked a place and like the person i met with, but after trying to book them, they sprung a whole crap load of extra charges on me. It was bullshit! So now I'm back to square one on the officiant hunt, and its not fun!

I did finally start registering though, which is good. When we moved I started buying everything I needed because I didnt have the patience to wait to get married! There was some stuff I just couldnt live without. :) But now I'm just working on the final touches of my registry. I still need to register for bathroom items, but I can't do that without picking a shower curtain! and do you think that either target or jcpenny had a curtain I liked?! NO! lol so now I'm on the hunt for a shower curtain, and then I will go from there. I know I'm crazy, whats new.

Oh, and now that I've written all this out, for the whole 3 people to read, I realize that I need to find my bridesmaid gifts as well! That won't be too hard, I just can't put it off!

Anyways, that's all my rambling for the night!

FOOTBALL!!

Football starts soon! Yay! NFL finally released the regular season schedule and we're pretty excited. Dallas Cowboys will be here in Denver the weekend before our wedding (10/5), so I know Byron will be at that game for sure! Our wedding weekend (10/10) my team (the Chargers) has a bye week, good thing! I don't have to worry about them playing on Sunday! Our first Monday Night Football game is our season opener and it is going to be against the Raiders, so the will be fun, and another one of our Monday Night Football games is against the Broncos (10/16).
Anyways, there's my random footballness for the day!

My sister and mom came and visited over the weekend. My mom was mainly flying out to work on wedding plans with me, but my sister came out as a surprise! It was a lot of fun and we got a lot accomplished.

I just need to find the officiant, pick out the invitations, and register!

While my sister was here we were able to have ONE day to do stuff she wanted to do... like the zoo! They only thing she wanted to do before we left was feed the giraffes at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. So we spent about 2 1/2 hours at the zoo and then went and got matching tattoos, the only other thing she wanted to do before she left. Overall the weekend as awesome and busy! I was glad that my sister and Dylan got to finally visit!
